With the technology called Sturegeon Friendly Caviar, the faculty has been awarded the 2nd place in the competition „Czech Innovation“.
The competition „Czech Innovation“ has announced the best national innovations of the year 2014. A jury of specialists has selected interesting and beneficial ideas from 124 registered projects from various fields of industry, bussiness, science and state administration. The Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters registered in the prestigious competition CZECH INNOVATION its unique technology of Caviar production, so called Sturgeon Friendly Caviar. Among more than one hundred other projects this technology has been awarded 2nd place in the category Innovative Idea. The most successful ideas in particular categories are nominated for the award for an overall winner of the competition „Czech Innovation 2014“. This award will be voted by the participants of the Festival Czech Innovation 2015 on the day of the event – 27th March, held in the National Library of Technology.
