Program
4 language classes a day, focused especially on communication; German courses diveded into two groups - for advanced students and Germanists, tutored by natived speakers. Austrian participants will absolve an appropriate study of the Czech language.
Workshop Die politische Wende von 1989 in der Tschechoslowakischen Republik: Innen- und Außenperspektiven offers a view of the situation in the year 1989 from Czech and international perspective. Workshop will be supported by Mgr. Vojtěch Ripka, Ph.D. (Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes) and PhDr. Jiříh Stočes, Ph.D. (Department of Germanistics, PF USB).

Participants:
18 students from the Czech Republic and 18 students from Austria
Conditions
students of public universities in the Czech Republic, who are inhabitants of EU, European economic area or Switzerland (priority for the students, who have not absolved any Sommerkolleg before)

Financing
Participants have accommodation for free, full board, lectures, transport during excursions and the visit of historical monuments involved in the program.
Fee:
3.000,- CZK - must be paid before the course starts.
Freetime activities
The course will be held in the centre of České Budějovice, not far from the railway/bus station, cultural and sports facilities (internet access for free directly in the building, wifi connection in the rooms, cinema, theatre, summer swimmingpool, cycling and skating path etc.)
